For Individuals

How AmHuman works

A verified digital identity that proves you're human, protects your privacy, and works everywhere.

Your privacy comes first

When you complete the AmHuman verification, your biometric data is processed and immediately converted into irreversible mathematical signatures using locality-sensitive hashing. These signatures allow us to confirm your uniqueness — ensuring no one can create a second handle — without ever storing your actual face or voice data.

What this means for you:

  • Your raw biometric data is never stored on our servers.
  • Your face and voice cannot be reconstructed from what we keep.
  • Even if our database were compromised, attackers would get meaningless hash values.
  • Your identity is verified, but your biometrics remain yours alone.

The humanity test

Our verification combines multiple biometric challenges simultaneously — face recognition, voice verification, and physical movement — all in real time under randomized conditions. This multi-modal approach creates a challenge space that AI agents and deepfakes cannot pass because they would need to convincingly fake all modalities at once under time pressure with unpredictable prompts.

You might be asked to say a specific phrase while turning your head, make a hand gesture while speaking, or tilt your device while looking at the camera. Each test is different. Each test is quick. And each test is something a real person does effortlessly.

Your handle, everywhere

Once verified, you choose a unique handle — your portable proof of humanity. Use it on any platform that integrates AmHuman. At transaction time, enter your handle, get a confirmation ping on your phone, tap confirm, and you're through. No passwords. No CAPTCHAs. No re-scanning your face every time.

Your handle is bound to your device for security. If you get a new phone, a quick re-verification restores your handle.
